Frequently Asked Questions
Tiger Time will be offered at all four Princeton elementary schools:
Community Park
Johnson Park
Littlebrook
Riverside
Students will remain in their home school building (no bussing is required) and will be grouped with peers from their school. Each site will have a team of trained mentors, certified staff, and a dedicated site supervisor to ensure a safe, engaging, and familiar environment for your child.
Tiger Time is designed from the ground up specifically for Princeton Public Schools with a focus on trusted relationships and a calm, consistent after-school environment. The program is staffed by many PPS educators who already know the school culture and many of the kids, as well as dedicated and qualified mentors from the community, surrounding area, and local colleges. Our goal is create a space where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to stay after school.
Tiger Time will offer a mix of structured and flexible programming designed to help students unwind, connect, and explore. Each afternoon includes time for snack and conversation, outdoor or indoor play, and hands-on activities. Most importantly, kids will be supported by trusted adult mentors in a familiar school setting.
If your child does not attend school on a particular day, there is no need to notify Tiger Time of their absence. They will be included on the absentee list we receive from the school.
If your child attends school, but will not be attending Tiger Time that day, please email the Tiger Time account for your building: Community Park - cp@tigertimeasp.com
Littlebrook - lb@tigertimeasp.com
Johnson Park - jp@tigertimeasp.com
Riverside - rs@tigertimeasp.com
All families must complete a set of required Tiger Time policies and medical forms before enrollment is finalized. These include emergency contact info, medical authorization, and behavior agreements.
To speed up registration on June 29, we strongly recommend reviewing the required policies ahead of time: Review Tiger Time Policies
After registering, several medical forms are still required. Reminders will be sent to families. If these forms are not completed by August 22, we will need to offer your spot to a family on the waitlist.
If you need to contact Tiger Time regarding an issue, concern, or complaint, please start with the Site Supervisors at that location. In person is always the best form of communication to start with, but if you need to email, please reach out to the site specific email addresses: Community Park - cp@tigertimeasp.com
Littlebrook - lb@tigertimeasp.com
Johnson Park - jp@tigertimeasp.com
Riverside - rs@tigertimeasp.com
Our phone answering service will also be available beginning in August, and we will post the dedicated number for that at that time.
If you feel your concern has not been addressed appropriately, please email Ben Samara, Tiger Time Founder, at ben@tigertimeasp.com
